Roo - 2011, 14.1 hands, Chestnut and White Tobiano Mare
Roo is a darling pinto mare. She belonged to a friend who needed to find all of her horses a home. I brought Roo home for one of my 4-Hers but her current situation does allow her to have a horse of her own. Roo has been in consistent training with us since March 2019 and has really excelled in jumping. She jumps around 2’6” and 2’9” courses. She has school Novice cross country and is brave, kind, and very ridable. Roo will be a good move-up pony for the right kid. She’d also make a FUN mount for a smaller adult. Roo is wickedly talented over the jumps and always has her knees tucked up. On top of that, she is extremely smooth to ride. Roo has also done quite a bit of work on Working Ranch Horse training, including crossing bridges, swinging a rope, and dragging poles and barrels. Roo is great on trails and will lead or follow. She loads and hauls like a dream. Always been barefoot and would only need shoes if she’s being ridden a lot or in rocks. She is oh-so-friendly and absolutely loves people and kids. She is completely unphased by the craziness of my kids with their bikes, toys, goats and dogs. Roo is lower on the pecking order and good with her feet and general maintenance. We are looking at a horse show July 27th, stay tuned for even more updates!
Roo is for sale for $5,500. She is currently in full training in California but shipping can be arranged.
