Little Foot - 2011, chestnut Shire Cross gelding

2011 Shire Cross Gelding - Little Foot does not have little feet. He was named that because his larger brother, Denio was nick-named Big Foot. When Little Foot came along, it was just a given that he would get this name. Little Foot is a super star! We have used Little Foot for vaulting, packing 2 or 3 kids at a time, trail riding, lead line, and for friends. He goes English, Western, bareback and handles himself well for a big horse. He knows his leads and has a lovely English trot. He loads and hauls like a dream. Always kept current on shots, dewormer and farrier. Never needed shoes and he stands nicely for trimming. 16 hands and growing!

Update January 2015: Little Foot is our go-to guy. He is the horse we use for friends or whenever we need to ride double or pony colts. He helping bring along the coming 3 year olds now is proving to be relieable and steady. His size is also quite handy as he unphased by the smaller horses slamming into him or trying to push him off the trails. I also took him to his first show. He handled himself like a pro. He hasn't been over fences in months and he has never been in an indoor arena. He was fine with all of it. He didn't mind the crowds of horses and actually loved all of the attention he received. I will start working him more on dressage and add some jumping to his training. I'm pretty sure there isn't anything Little Foot won't try if he's just asked.

Sold to a wonderful family north of Seattle, Washington! Little Foot will have a great time with his 12 year boy on the trails!
